Just a note to brief you on our November 21st ride to Original Mike’s in Santa Ana.
This nostalgic venue located in the revitalized downtown Santa Ana business district, is said to transport you to another time and place. The restaurant and saloon was metamorphosed from the old derelict Buick auto dealership circa 1919.
Period restored cars like the PACKARD share the showroom floor with tall tables for dinning and drinking.
The ride over to Santa Ana was considered an Advanced Ride as it included piloting over the Ortega 74 highway and a considerable amount of freeway riding. If you like narrow twisty mountain roads and freeways don’t give you sweaty palms and a headache, this was your ride!
That’s what’s up!

Million Mile Ride 06.29.09
The Harley Davidson “Million Mile Ride” was a resounding success for TVHog this year with 18 bikes and 3,384 miles accrued for our Chapter.
Capt. Carrylyn J. lead the fast paced sortie on a panoramic scenic route with our first landing at Cahuilla Casino in Anza, CA, followed by the second touch & go at Lake Henshaw Resort in Santa Ysabel, CA.
The only nominally came on the last leg when our rear guard, Capt. George L. encountered bogies in the form of bees and took a full frontal face hit for us. We all hope he is recovering well and is receiving much needed attention from his very personal nurse!
That’s What’s Up,
